Froth Coffee is a project that entailed building a coffee shop brand. The coffee shop is to be located in L'Atelier on Hastings and Sunrise. First, a brand story and brand personality was developed to help understand the direction of Froth Coffee. Thorough research was performed to get to know the roots of the brand. I took a look at competitors and created a moodboard. The logo was created to show the movement of coffee and waves simultaneously. The colour palette is bold, it pops and has depth. The typography chosen represents a youthful, varsity lifestyle which can be nostalgic. The graphic element made to be used throughout was kelp to add a beachy vibe to the brand. The style is organic and natural. A mock film poster was created showing the graphic element and branded photography. A business card, letterhead and second sheet were created to exhibit corporate assets. Merch was also made featuring the chairs, towel, and volleyball. Programs used were Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. This was a fun project however it was challenging using a limited colour palette. The overall outcome was pleasant and captured the true essence of the brand.
