For this project I rebranded an ice cream shop. The original name was The Ocean Rock Cafe and I changed it to Coastal Desserts. The original branding was scattered, disorganized and lacked cohesion. The new branding is fun, beachy, current and consistent. The branding is made to appeal to the target audience and catch potential customers' attention. My goal was to create a relevant ice cream shop that appeals to young kids and their parents. The colour palette is bold, sunny and eye-catching. The type is round and comfortable. The illustrations are quirky and engaging. A design challenge was using colours that had proper contrast. Overall, using a nature inspired theme and nostalgia brought the vision to life.
